The DHM® Camera add-on solution

Power up your existing microscope

Our DHM® Cameras enhance all your existing inverted microscopes capabilities by adding Quantitative Phase Imaging (QPI) modality with a simple module mounted on the side port.

Lyncée provides not only the DHM® camera, but, for the most common microscope models, integration solution for sample environmental control, multi-modal and multisite  imaging, and software for automated workflow control, data analysis and interpretation, and reporting.

The DHM® Cameras product range

  • The standard DHM® Camera (DHM-C S) operates at up to 194 measurements per second, and allows sequential record of phase and alternative imaging modalities.
  • The premium DHM® Camera (DHM-C P) allows to simultaneously record both phase at up to 194 frames per second and alternative imaging modalities.

The large field of view DHM® Camera (DHM-C XL) come with a 4 Mpixels camera to provides a 4X larger field of view compared to standard imaging devices, plus a higher spatial resolution. It allows to simultaneously record both phase at up to 75 frames per second together with an alternative imaging modalities (fluorescence, Raman, etc.).

Simultaneous multi-modal correlative microscopy

Similarly to the DHMT series, the DHM® Cameras DHM-C_P and DHM-C_XL  enables operation of QPI simultaneously to your microscope imaging modes (epi-fluoresence, confocal, Raman, TIRF, bright-field, … ).

It enables spatial co-localization thanks advantage of the specificity of fluorescence to identify distinct cellular structures. Find here for instance how spatial co-localization can be used to identify lipid droplets

Temporal correlation between QPI and fluorescence provides valuable information on the dynamics of the monitored processes regarding the synchronization of the bio-processes. Find here for instance how temporal correlation can be used to investigate cardiomyocytes beating.

Software for acquisition, data analysis, interpretation, and reporting

The proprietary software Koala Acquisition & Analysis controls the measurement acquisition parameters, controls the laser source, the electronic and peripheral equipment such as the motorized stage.

Cell Analysis Tool automatically processes the acquired hologram or reconstructed phase images, refocus the cells after the acquisition (a unique feature of holographic microscopy), track the spatial displacement of cell during time-lapse experiments, and extracts the biological information for the Single site and Multiple site workflows, and combine measurements of Multi-modal experiments. It save each analysis  automatically in a XLSX file, and produce a PDF report summarizing the key feature of the analysis.
