The DHM T1000 series is composed of the only transmission configured optical profilers on the market. This configuration is suitable for transparent or semi-transparent samples and gives information about the specimen surface and shape, and also on its material and internal structure or defects.

DHM T1000 provides real-time measurements of optical path length with a high accuracy, providing a very high sensitivity to thickness or volume variations as well as to refractive index changes. DHMs' are thus particularly well adapted for characterizing micro-optics and biological media.
